Therapeutic Taping

Taping can be a really useful tool to aid physiotherapy and provide carryover of treatment effects.

It can act to keeping a joint alignment or supporting a joint to produce a certain movement. For instance, in children who’s toes turn in as they walk, application of the tape to the thigh can help to correct the foot position and lead to less trips and falls, as the correct position allows the muscles to get stronger.

Tape can be used for -

  • orthopedic injuries
  • weak or underdeveloped muscles,
  • gait abnormalities
  • poor posture
  • increased muscle tone
  • low muscle tone
  • erbs palsy
